A multi-award-winning civil engineer and data scientist, Zoe is on a mission to make technology and innovation more accessible, engaging, and exciting for all. Formerly from the construction industry, she knows what it takes to navigate complex challenges, break barriers, and drive real change. With extensive global experience, she takes the overwhelm out of complex conversations, using humor, storytelling, and real-world insights to inspire action.

She’s not here to do things the way they’ve always been done. From researching smart cities across 9 countries on a Churchill Fellowship to being named Queensland’s Young Engineer of the Year, Zoe is a leader, a disruptor, and an advocate for smarter, more connected communities. This year, she was part of the Homeward Bound global women in STEMM leadership program—culminating in a two-week expedition to Antarctica! 

As host of The Smart Community Podcast and founder of My Smart Community, Zoe stays ahead of the latest trends, working with government, academia, and industry through keynote speaking, consulting and facilitating conversations.
