Award categories will include:

Celebrating women specialising in the world of trade, from carpentry to painting, electrical and more.

They are the future of our industry, emerging leaders undertaking apprenticeships within the construction industry from administration to project management and specialised trades.

Those eligible must be ages 16-24 undertaking an Australian approved apprenticeship or traineeship.

Contributing and celebrating advancements in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics to improve the future of the construction industry and inspiring others achieveimprove the future of the construction industry and inspiring others to achieve excellence along the way.

This is an individual who has made an exceptional contribution and remarkable accomplishment to the construction industry.

Recognising the leading employers that are providing a workplace that maximises the full potential of their workforce through offering a positive culture and environment to thrive in.

Extending appreciation to the colleagues and business leaders supporting and advocating for women not only in their own business, but also the wider construction industry.

The ones who support effectively, always having their finger on the pulse in a fast-paced environment alongside their Executive Director.

Acknowledge the exceptional efforts of women at the heart of small business operations. Managing and coordinating the day-today to ensure the success of the business and its future.

Those eligible will be in small business (Under 20 employees).

They are the ones who truly go above and beyond in their role to inspire, educate, empower, and amplify women in construction.

The winner of each category will have the opportunity to be the recipient of the AWIC Professional of the Year Award
