SQW Construct Your Future Program - Expression of Interest

Do you know or are you a woman looking to enter or re-enter the workforce with confidence and a strong skill set? Look no further!

We are excited to introduce the ‘Construct Your Future’ program – a 3-week job ready initiative.

Program overviews and outcomes include:

Practical workshops, industry guest speakers and work experience opportunities

Kickstart a career in construction with a supportive, beginner-friendly program that blends practical exposure with job-search skills

Duration: 3 weeks
(Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 2:30pm)
Format: workshops, practical demos, guest speakers & construction industry insights
Work experience component: coordinated industry placement/hosted site experience during the program
Supportive hours for school runs

Construction pathways: apprenticeships, traineeships & entry level roles
Safety fundamentals and working on a site (non-licensed overview)
Tools & materials familiarisation (intro level)
Job-readiness: resumes that work, interview practice, and networking opportunities
