Awesome Women in Construction (AWIC) are excited to announce that it will be running a roadshow throughout North Queensland which will include visiting a large variety of education providers. During this roadshow, we will also plan to include site visits, factory tours, showrooms and other ‘out of the box’ opportunities to engage and ‘show off’ the construction industry to our next generation.

During the roadshow we will also be highlighting the economic security, empowerment, and recognition of women in non-traditional roles within the construction industry through regional Queensland. Awesome Women in Construction (AWIC) will highlight the career opportunities that await young women at both trade and professional levels within the construction industry, highlighting non-traditional roles.
