The primary function of this role is to deliver high quality and innovative structural and structural connection designs and documentation for building structures with medium to large complexity, not limited to but including mid-rise apartments, mass timber buildings and residential buildings. Build, maintain and develop relationships with clients, liaising with them on all aspects of their design requirements. Ensure that engineering designs adhere to Australian Standards and the Company’s design philosophy, in addition to the Company’s technical procedures and standardised processes. Perform structural inspections on-site, and prepare technical reports on these. Interpret architectural drawings for structural design consideration and extract relevant information.
