The primary purpose of the role of Graduate Urban Planner and Urban Planner will be to manage and assess development applications electronically to comply with relevant legislation and Council policy. Manage development applications, across disciplines and electronically, to achieve sound development outcomes and key performance indicators. Interpret, apply and advise on relevant legislation and Council policies and procedures. Prepare letters, memos, reports, agendas, instructions, submissions or similar, including recommendations and reasonable and relevant conditions to Council delegates and committees. Provide technical planning advice to customers over the phone and face-to-face.
