As an Associate Director, you will be passionate about civil engineering and continually pursue improvement of your technical expertise. You are required to have a flexible and hands on approach to managing projects both in terms of resourcing and financial control. Larger projects may involve the management of the team assigned to you, with these team members carrying out many of the detailed design, documentation and construction tasks. In other instances (particularly for smaller projects / activities) you may be the senior engineer responsible for carrying out all design, documentation and construction tasks depending upon available resources. Other projects may be a mixture of each of these scenarios.
