Apprentice
Junior Technicians provide suppport and gain exposure to specific trade such as Structures, Mechanical, Avionics/electrical, Welding, Machining or Composites. Apprentices gain hands on experience in a specific trade whilst also completing a certificate in the area. Apprentices provide support in the fabrication, repair and assembly of hardwear and equipment as needed. Apprentices are required to utilise varies types of hand tools and/or hand held power tools, floor mounted power tools and precision measuring tools.
Responsibilities:
1. Fabricate, repair, and assemble hardware/equipment needed
2. Read and interpret technical drawings, and follow detailed work instructions
3. Complete general cleaning and maintenance duties as required
4. Utilise various types of hand tools and/or hand-held power tools, floor-mounted power tools and precision measuring tools
5. Ensure all services are performed in a safe manner and follow WHS procedures
